HRG Fishing for 2008

The tentative date for opening day of fishing at HRG is Saturday, April 5 (subject to ice melt as always). If there is still ice on the pond, we will plan on an opening of APril 12th.

On opening day, things will be started off with a fisherman's breakfast buffet from 6:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. (the fisherman's breakfast will be open to the public as well). IF YOU PLAN ON EATING, PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY.

Breakfast will be followed by the children's fishing derby scheduled for 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

As a reminder, on opening day, you will need your HRG membership card and a current CT fishing license.

There is no fishing allowed on stocking days and there are no guests allowed the day after any stocking day. Additional stockings this year will be posted soon.

We are sure this year will bring a great season of fishing. We look forward to seeing you soon.
